Aircraft Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

· Aircraft airframe and structural design: design of fuselage structures and internal mechanisms based on a comprehensive understanding of the overall aircraft system
· Detailed mechanical design and drafting: 3D detailed design drawings using SolidWorks

Core Competencies

· Practical application of design formulas: ability to calculate airframe strength and loads and review physical feasibility based on aircraft design formulas
· Understanding of mechanics of materials: design ability to ensure structural stability by understanding the properties of aerospace materials such as aluminum alloys and composites (CFRP/FRP)

Preferred Qualifications

· Intermediate or higher hands-on mechanical design experience
· Holders of CAD national technical certifications

Requirements

· Experience: 5+ years
· Education: Associate degree or higher
