AI Flight Control Applied Mathematics Engineer

Responsibilities

  • · We are hiring an applied mathematician who can simplify and linearize flight control equations and design AI programs capable of autonomous judgment and action to carry out missions. This role requires someone who can lay the groundwork for converting mathematical concepts into electronic design concepts.

Core Competencies

  • · Strong mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills for numerical computation
  • · Proficiency in Python and C++
  • · Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch)
  • · Understanding of AI model conversion and optimization (ONNX)
  • · Computer vision (OpenCV) and image processing skills
  • · Experience with high-performance inference libraries (TensorRT, DeepStream)
  • · Knowledge of multimedia streaming (GStreamer)
  • · Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) environments
  • · Experience with container-based development (Docker) and version control (Git/GitHub)
  • · Proficiency with team collaboration tools (Notion)

Preferred Qualifications

  • · Mathematics major preferred
  • · Experience with wireless communication and automotive networking such as Ambarella CV2x
  • · Experience with embedded systems development
  • · Experience with real-time data processing and optimization
  • · Understanding of AI model lightweighting and hardware acceleration techniques
  • · Experience at a startup or in the unmanned aerial vehicle industry
